Wedding Dress Code

Beach formal! We want you all to look lovely and fancy, but we know there are limits imposed by being outdoors in the tropics.

This means midi- or maxi-length dresses, or suits with button-down shirts (can be short sleeved, without ties), in a fabric that is breathable and light enough for Phuket weather! Lighter colors will also help you keep cool in the heat, and fit our desired color scheme. We would ask that men do not wear shorts, only young children. And don’t forget your sunglasses!

We will be on a wooden deck outdoors for the ceremony and dinner, and then will be moving to another venue for most of the dancing afterwards. While we’re on the deck, chunkier/shorter heels or flat sandals will probably be preferable to high heels. The second venue is on the sand, so no shoes necessary! But women will probably want to avoid floor-length dresses for this reason.
